American & Modern Studies
This year students in grades three through six will study U.S. geography and learn facts about all fifty states. Materials used will include Beautiful Feet Books Learning Geography Through Literature, Logos School sound-offs, and Memoria Press's 50 States.
All students participate in sound-offs learning key facts about each of the fifty states, complete notebook pages on each state, and do an oral report including visuals on one or two states per quarter. Junior high students will study American History II this year, continuing their course through America's history from the Civil War to the 20th century. High school students who have completed American History will study World History I this year. | Classes by Subject
