Christian Studies -- History, Bible, and Catholic Religion Courses
Primary students (grades one through three) will study Bible History, lives of the Saints, and the Baltimore Catechism. Preparation for the reception of Sacraments is included. No part-time enrollment at this time.
Beginning in third or fourth grades, SFA students will complete a three year study of the Bible using Memoria Press Study Guides and the Children's Golden Bible. Incorporated into the Christian Studies classes, students study the Catechism and memorize important questions and answers from the Baltimore Catechism No. 2. Junior high students review the Bible History studied in the middle grades and continue on to a study of the Acts of the Apostles and the Baltimore Catechism No. 3. High school students this year will study the City of God by St. Augustine, using Memoria Press's study guide. | Classes by Subject
