Science Classes at SFA
In the primary grades, first through third, students will study nature, including plants and animals, the solar system, and have an introduction into the physical sciences. There will be no K/1 part-time science class this year.
Students in the middle grades (third through sixth) will study Astronomy this year using a Creation Science textbook and incorporating activities and a field trip to the Planetarium. Advanced second grade students may be accepted into this class. Inquire using the form at the bottom of this page. Junior high students (grades seventh through ninth) will complete a course in General Science in preparation for the more rigorous study required in high school. Ninth and Tenth grade students (and above) who have taken both General Science and Physical Science will be studying Biology this year. | Classes by Subject
